What you bring to the team
  • You successfully completed a bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline. A CPHR designation is an asset. 
  • You bring 5+ years of experience as an HR professional resolving complex matters in various HR functions (workforce planning, total compensation, employee relations, etc.). Prior supervisory experience is an asset. 
  • You are known for exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills enabling meaningful interaction at all levels. 
  • You bring strong business and HR acumen, including systems thinking, and self-initiative. 
  • You have demonstrated the ability to confidently coach leaders and supervisors using HR best practices. 
  • You thrive in an evolving and ambiguous environment with tight timelines and competing priorities. 
  • You bring intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365,  Visio, and HRMS. 

Important work you will do at e4c
  • Through your inquisitive approach, you will identify areas of improvement within programs related to HR operational practices and bring forward practical solutions.  
  • By making meaningful connections with leaders, you will share valuable advice on various workplace matters, including development, compensation and benefits, workforce planning and talent management, performance management, employment law matters, and application of HR policies. 
  • With your keen sense of best practices, you will provide guidance on matters regarding WCB, leave management programs, employee accommodations and return to work programs. 
  • Working closely with leaders, you will build and maintain a proactive talent acquisition plan, anticipate workforce needs and explore creative recruitment strategies. 
  • Using your research skills, you will participate in job analysis, position description reviews, and compensation analysis. 
  • Acting as an ambassador for change, you will actively participate in the implementation of HR Strategies, Operational Plans, and e4c’s Strategic Goals. 
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Work closely and support agency leaders with Human Resource initiatives, strategies, policies, and communication of those changes.
