Liliana’s Journey (Video)

Liliana’s Boutique has raised $32,000 for E4C’s School Lunch Program in over three years. Storeowner, Liliana Kujundzic, donates 100% of proceeds from every pashmina, eternity scarf and necklace sold. Liliana has a new objective: to raise $100,000 by January of 2015.

She will embark on a great journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. When she decided on her plan, she had yet to hike in the Canadian Rockies, but Liliana’s strong ambition has driven her rigorous training. Her motivation is E4C’s School Lunch Program. The program supports student success by increasing their concentration through a full meal. Children are enrolled in the program in 10 elementary schools throughout Edmonton. The immediate impact of the School Lunch Program is the satisfaction of a balanced meal, but over the long-term the program improves food security and strengthens coping skills.
