A Gift for Growing

With the guidance of adult mentors, students at St. Benedict’s School spent the winter months growing and caring for seedlings for E4C’s Community Garden. Red and yellow cherry tomatoes, basil, hot pepper plants and dwarf sunflowers were raised from seed to sprout. The students then continued the growth cycle and donated the plants to E4C’s Community Garden, a place for local residents to grow and care for a garden of their own. Thank you St. Benedict Help Our Planet Earth and Community Garden Club for nourishing our community.
