The Teapots of WEAC
“I loved my ceramics class in high-school,” one woman recalls as she mixes paints and coats her delicate teapot. The women of E4C WEAC have painted a series of single-serving teapots over the last few months. Many staying for hours at a time to work out their designs. Recreation is an important part to the day, as it permits us time to de-stress, to reminisce, to focus on expressing ourselves. Thanks to Colour Me Mine for lending us the paints and firing the pots in their kiln. The teapots now live all over the city. Mayor Don Iveson and his lovely wife, Sarah Chan, took home this one at our Afternoon for WEAC fundraiser in the fall.
